Oh, the possibilities...

Well, g'day! How ya going? All is well here at the Perry household -- as well as it can be when we're scrambling to find a new home. I'm going to miss this place when we go. It's been my home since Danny and I got married, and Danny's home since he was just a little bloke. His dad used to work for Mr Morgan, and so Mr Morgan hired Danny when he was old enough to know how to herd sheep.

Danny's parents moved to NSW about 12 years back (those are the rellies I mentioned in the previous post). They like it there. Danny doesn't want to move there though; costs big bikkies to live where they do! It'd be nice, but...not likely.

All we need is a little station or farmlet somewhere in southwestern Vic or just across the border into SA. A lot of places in the Murray region look promising. Here are a few of them. Click on the links and take a Captain Cook!

This one is very affordable, but it looks sorta bodgy. Danny's handy, but I don't know if even he could take care of all the repairs necessary and still earn a living. Besides, there's not enough land to farm and have a couple of horses.

Ace, but too pricey for us. The realtor says they won't take less.
Carngham

A nice place, but a lot of work required. Not much land and it is poor at that.
Skipton

Oh, such a love of a place! But we'd have Buckley's of buying this one.
Dunach

Same thing as above. Too much money, but a nice home.
Beaufort

I love this one!

I love this one too! Right now I can't decide between this and the previous one. We're investigating...

So there are some of our options right now. There have been several we've looked into that are already sold. They were nice, but nothing really crash hot. I have to admit I'm a bit toey about leaving here -- packing all our stuff and just heading off to somewhere new. But then I've said that already. :)
